The Carnon Downs Community Association (CDCA) was formed in May 2017 with the aim of providing more events for the whole of the village and a Christmas lights display.

We are a group of residents from Carnon Downs or who have close links with the village, we are all different ages, some of us have young children still at pre-school or school and some of us are Grandparents!

The Committee is made up as follows:

Sophie Monnington - Treasurer

Emma Clarke - Committee member

Caroline Richards - Committee member

Joy MacDonald - Committee member

Anthony Green - Committee member

​Our initial idea was to provide a Christmas tree in the village centre and some outdoor lights for Christmas in 2017 but our enthusiastic group have lots of ideas for other events we can hold in the village - including a Party in the Park, Halloween Pumpkin trail and Table Top Sales. We have also recently taken on running the Scarecrow Competition too.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help at events and with putting up the Christmas Lights, you don't have to be on the Committee to volunteer.
